What we do

Provide on-water logistics for the transportation of passengers and equipment to and from the Basin Campgrounds located in Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. We deliver you to the beach right in front of your camp site!

Where do we pick up and deliver to/from?

Any beach, waterfront home, wharf or boat ramp in Pittwater, Hawkesbury River or Central Coast.

What are most popular pickup points

Popular locations (based on good parking) include Sand Point Lane off Iluka Road, Palm Beach, Careel Bay wharf – George Street Avalon, Bayview Boat ramp.

When do we operate?

Seven days a week, usually between 7am and 5pm although we can operate outside these hours with prior notice.

Our vessels

Our high speed, low draft barges capable of operating in shallow waters. They are fitted with a fold down, drop-front to facilitate easy walk-on walk-off transport.

Do I need to book?

A booking is essential to ensure we are available in busy periods but impromptu trips are just fine if we are available.

What is the cost?

Like any ‘taxi’ it works on time and distance, we can give you a pretty solid idea of the cost at the time of booking.

• Equipment can be delivered directly to boat (at boat ramp)

• Sandy Point/Palm Beach to Basin 6 pax with equipment is $150
• Sandy Point/Palm Beach to Basin 8 pax with equipment $180
• As a rule of thumb its $25 per head with camping equipment

In estimating your trip consider the local ferry charges $10 per head plus $15 per backpack.
